Classroom Management Plan

 I will teach this plan with the students on the first day of class.  I will go over the rules and hang them up in the classroom.  Both positive and negative consequences will be taught on the first day as well.  I will have student teaching conferences after every test.  This will be done while the students are working on group work.  I will talk about their grades and how everything is going with their school work.  This is good to develop a trust or connection with the students.  On the first day of class I will send home with the student two copies of the rules and consequences of the class.  The students' parents will have to sign the paper and return the signed copy of the rules and consequences.  This way the parents will have a copy at home.  I will also give the parents my e-mail address so they can contact me with any questions.  The other paper that will be sent home is the rubric for the class.  This will explain to the parents how their child will be graded.  I will also send home a biweekly newsletter stating what will be covered in the next two weeks.  It will also let parents know any important information like dates of tests and projects.  The parents will be able to meet with me on parent teacher night and discuss any questions that they may have or e-mail me at any time during the year.
